Larry Carter

Larry Carter is a seasoned professional in the motorsports industry, currently serving as the Director of Research Development at Richard Childress Racing since January 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Production Supervisor at Hendrick Motorsports from January 2012 to March 2023, and serving as GMGM at Rusty Wallace, Inc. / Rusty Wallace Racing between September 2010 and January 2012. Larry has also held positions as Crew Chief at Yates Racing and Roush Fenway Racing from December 2008 to December 2009 and January 2007 to December 2008, respectively. Larry Carter earned an Associate of Science degree in Agronomy from North Carolina State University from January 1980 to January 1983.
