Marcus Schabacker

Marcus Schabacker is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and medical fields. Currently serving as CEO and President of ECRI since January 2018, Marcus also holds board member positions at Lake Forest High School and Enveric Biosciences, Inc., and serves as Chairman of the Board for the Institute for Safe Medication Practices. An affiliated associate professor at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Marcus has a robust background in research and development, having previously held significant roles at Baxter International Inc. and ConvaTec, including Corporate Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer. With a Ph.D. in Anesthesia and an M.D. in Medicine from Universität zu Lübeck, Marcus has demonstrated a commitment to advancing healthcare through leadership, innovation, and strategic oversight.
