Janice Forgue

Janice Forgue is a Senior Manager at ECS Financial Services. Janice has over 13 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in assurance services for employee benefit plans, real estate entities, and other industries.

Janice began their career at RSM US LLP (formerly McGladrey LLP) in November 2006 as a Partner in the Assurance Services group. In this role, they served as regional employee benefit plan assurance leader, engagement leader, and in various quality assurance roles (engagement quality reviewer and independent report reviewer). Janice also participated in the firm’s employee benefit plan audit quality monitoring program, in development of the firm’s employee benefit plan audit policies and procedures, and in approval of client acceptance and continuation decisions. In addition, Janice consulted with local public accounting firms on technical auditing, attest, accounting, and reporting matters, including employee benefit plan audit and tax compliance.

In March 2016, Janice joined ECS Financial Services as a Senior Manager in the Assurance group. In this role, they are responsible for leading audits and attest engagements for clients in various industries.

Janice is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS). Janice has served on the ICPAS Employee Benefit Plan Committee as chair and member, and on the ICPAS Peer Review Executive and Peer Review Report Acceptance Committees.

Janice Forgue has a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management from Northeastern Illinois University and a Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois - Urbana. Janice is also certified as a Lease & Finance Professional from the CLFP Foundation and has Advanced Defined Benefit Plans Audit and Advanced Defined Contribution Plans Audit Certificates from the AICPA.
