Kristin Lemus is vice president of health information technology (IT) and cyber at ECS. In this role, Mrs. Lemus oversees ECS contracts with the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and the Defense Health Agency. Her work focuses on the development, transformation, and security of the organizations’ enterprise IT systems and networks. Mrs. Lemus is responsible for program execution, contract service delivery, and client management as well as the delivery of data transformation, cybersecurity, and lifecycle management solutions. She also helps lead ECS’ organic and strategic growth initiatives within the defense market.
Mrs. Lemus has over 17 years of experience managing Department of Defense enterprise IT and cyber contracts. She has served as a technical lead for DoD enterprise operations centers and engineering programs. She has also led business transformation initiatives which have helped DoD organizations drive efficiencies through the standardization and automation of business processes. Prior to working in the defense market, she successfully managed software development programs within the commercial sector.
Mrs. Lemus has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the College of Charleston. She holds numerous industry certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications.
