Senior Vice President, Justice Business Unit at ECS

Yusuf Abdul-Salaam is the Senior Vice President of the Justice Business Unit at ECS. The unit, which develops and supports IT systems for government partners within the DOJ, has grown considerably under his leadership, doubling its revenue in under two years. In this role, Mr. Abdul-Salaam manages over 600 employees as they operate the cloud, mobility, information security, and software development programs for the FBI, the U.S. Marshal Service, and the DOJ’s Justice Management Department.

Prior to ECS, Mr. Abdul-Salaam was the Vice President of the DHA Group, which was acquired by ECS in 2019. He began his career there as an account manager, building the company’s portfolio of clients, but soon found himself developing the company’s back office functions from recruiting to operations. In 2013, he bought in as an owner, and in the year between ECS’ acquisition and the merger, Mr. Abdul-Salaam acted as CEO and COO of the company, expanding the company’s revenue by 40% in that time.

Mr. Abdul-Salaam is passionate about leading operationally excellent teams and achieving organic growth by helping customers optimize and exceed business goals. He has a degree from University of Buffalo.
