Miss Emily L. is an accomplished Environmental Designer with extensive experience in equity-driven design and community engagement. Since March 2016, Miss Emily L. has worked at Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. and Herrera Environmental Consultants, while co-founding Floodplain Collective in June 2012, where the focus is on promoting community ideas and environmental stewardship. Previous roles include Design Research Fellow at the Metropolitan Design Center, managing design projects at Griggs Park, and facilitating community outreach at the Center for Changing Landscapes. Notable initiatives include organizing the Watershed Event symposium and contributing to community reforestation projects in Kenya. Miss Emily L. holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a BFA in Art from the University of San Francisco.
