Hilberto Ochoa

Hilberto Ochoa currently serves as the Region 18 School Bus Safety Certification Instructor since June 2024 and holds the position of Director of Transportation at Ector County ISD since 2017. Ochoa has extensive experience in education and athletics, having worked as Athletic Director, Head Cross Country and Head Track Coach, and also as an educator in various capacities, including Spanish Teacher and Physical Education/Health Director. Previous roles include Assistant Athletic Director of Dual Sports at ECISD, coaching at Midland High School, and teaching across multiple districts, including Stafford MSD and Midland ISD. Hilberto Ochoa earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and Spanish from Angelo State University between 1994 and 1999.
