Ryan Merritt

Ryan Merritt serves as the Executive Director of Career & Technical Education at Ector County ISD since August 2022, following a role as a Career & Technical Education Consultant at Region 18 ESC from July 2021 to August 2022. Previously, Ryan held leadership positions at the Texas Education Agency and Pflugerville ISD, focusing on career and technical education. Ryan's military background includes service as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Air Force. Academic credentials consist of an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Texas State University, a BS in Industrial Technology from the University of Houston, and an AAS in Laser and Optical Technology/Technician from Texas State Technical College Waco.
