Dean S Miner currently serves as the Associate Chief Medical Information Officer for Ambulatory at ECU Health since March 2023. With significant experience in medical informatics, Dean S Miner has been a member of the General Pediatrics Steering Committee and the Care Everywhere Governing Council at Epic since October 2014, representing Duke Health. Dean S Miner has also been part of the Informatics Advisory Committee for the American Board of Pediatrics since February 2016. Previously, Dean S Miner held roles at Duke University Health System, including Clinical Lead for Duke MyChart Patient Portal and Care Everywhere Health Information Exchange Application, and served as Director of Medical Informatics for the Department of Pediatrics. Before that, Dean S Miner was the Program Director for the Combined Residency Training Program in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Religious Studies from Duke University.
