Erica Taylor Mizelle is a seasoned professional in digital and multimedia strategy, currently serving as Director of Digital & Multimedia Strategy for both ECU Health and Vidant Health since February 2019 and July 2016, respectively. Previous experience includes roles such as External Communications Manager and Internal Communications Associate at Vidant Health, and Marketing Director and Communications Strategist at Banyan Communications from October 2012 to June 2016. Erica started a career in health communications as a Health Communications Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control from August 2008 to September 2012, following earlier positions as a Reporter at WFMY Television Corp. and Anchor, Reporter, and Producer at WHAG TV. Erica holds an MS in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University and a BA in Communication Studies with a minor in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
