Jeff Dial has had a diverse range of work experiences. Starting in 2010, they served as an Executive Medicine Advisor for the US Navy in Kabul, Afghanistan. Jeff was responsible for overseeing operational and budgetary matters, staff development, patient safety, and engagement with other healthcare institutions. In 2012, they joined Vidant Health as the VP of Operations for Vidant Bertie Hospital and later took on the role of Vice President, Allied Health Services. In 2014, they became President of two critical access hospitals and associated businesses, providing leadership and accountability for financial and operational targets. In 2019, they became the VP of Emergency Management and Special Projects, and in 2020, they took on the role of President at ECU Health, where they lead the overall operations of Vidant Duplin Hospital.
Jeff Dial has a Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Boston University Metropolitan College, which they earned from 1999 to 2001. Jeff also holds a Master's Degree in Public Health Administration from the University of South Carolina, obtained from 1996 to 1997. In addition, Jeff obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, completing it from 1990 to 1995. Jeff is also certified as a FACHE by the American College of Healthcare Executives.
