Karen Bolen Bsn

Karen Bolen BSN, RN has extensive experience in nursing and clinical informatics, currently serving as the Director of Inpatient Clinical Applications at ECU Health since May 2017. Prior roles include Director of Clinical Informatics at Bon Secours Health System (January 2015 - April 2017) and various positions at King's Daughters Medical Center from August 1999 to January 2015, where responsibilities included IST Business Consultant and Epic Systems Analyst II. Karen also contributed to the HIMSS Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter as a board member from 2015 to 2017 and has a strong background in emergency nursing, having worked at Charleston Area Medical Center Health System in various roles from 1998 to 2004. Educational achievements include a BSN from Mountain State University (2007 - 2008) and an RN from the University of Kentucky (1996 - 1998).
