Susan Domanico

Susan Domanico is the current Director of Adult Education at EdAdvance. Susan has also served as the Director of Instruction for Regional School District 14 in CT, and the Assistant Superintendent for Torrington Public Schools.

Susan has been instrumental in curriculum review and revision for both districts, and has been a driving force behind the transition to CT Core Standards. Susan has also overseen the development of alternative education programs aimed at reducing the high school dropout rate.

In their current role at EdAdvance, Susan is responsible for adult education programs, professional development, and community outreach. Under their leadership, EdAdvance has become a leading provider of adult education services in the state of Connecticut.

Susan Domanico has a Doctor of Education from the University of Connecticut in Educational Leadership and Administration. Susan also has a Master of Modern Studies from Loyola University Maryland in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. Finally, they have a Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College in American Susan'story and Political Science. Susan is also certified from the Connecticut State Department of Education in Superintendent 093 and Intermediate Administration 092.

They are on a team with Mike LoRusso - Director of Transportation, Abby Peklo - Director of Grants & Special Programs, and Jaren Havell - Director of Technology. Their manager is Jeffrey Kitching, Executive Director.
