Alistair Wood

Alistair Wood is an accomplished educational leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in various roles within the academic sector. As Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Edapt since September 2012, Alistair has demonstrated a commitment to innovative education. Previously, Alistair served as Assistant Principal and Head of Sixth Form at North London Collegiate School Dubai from August 2020 to July 2022, and held teaching positions at Wellington College and North London Collegiate School Jeju. Alistair's earlier career includes leadership roles at St Marylebone School and ST JOSEPH'S INSTITUTION INTERNATIONAL, alongside experience with the UK Civil Service Fast Stream and participation in the Teach First program. Alistair holds degrees in Industrial Economics with Insurance from the University of Nottingham, an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London, and QTS in Education from Canterbury Christ Church University.
