Austin has held various positions in different organizations, starting as an intern at ACLU of New Jersey. Austin has also served as a Labor Organizer at Hotel and Gaming Trades Council, AFL-CIO, and the President of College Democrats of Rutgers Newark. Currently, Austin is working as a Project Support Analyst at NYC Ferry under the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
