Gabriel Lefferts

Gabriel Lefferts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gabriel is currently a Project Manager at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, a position they started in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Evergreen Exchange as a Research Fellow in Economic Development & Data Analysis from September 2021 to June 2022. Gabriel also held the role of Morgan Stanley Community Development Graduate Fellow at the Association for Neighborhood & Housing Development (ANHD) during the same period.

Before that, Gabriel served as a Planning Intern at The Municipal Art Society of New York from June 2021 to August 2021. In this role, they conducted research, drafted recommendations, and attended public meetings related to various urban planning projects.

In 2021, Gabriel was also a Researcher and Supervising Marshal at Perch Advisors LLC from April to July.

Prior to their roles in urban development and research, Gabriel had extensive editorial experience. From August 2018 to April 2021, they served as the Managing Editor at Tricycle Magazine. Gabriel also held other roles at the publication, including Associate Editor, Editorial Assistant, and Editorial Intern.

Gabriel started their career as a Freelance Reporter and Intern at The Lakeville Journal from February 2016 to April 2017. Furthermore, they gained valuable experience as a Residential Volunteer at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra from June 2015 to January 2016.

Gabriel Lefferts holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Hunter College, which they obtained from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cultural Anthropology and Religious Studies from Ithaca College between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, Gabriel Lefferts obtained a certification in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in November 2022. In 2013, they briefly attended Antioch University, but no degree or field of study is specified during that time.
