Randi Cohen has a diverse background in the legal field, with extensive experience in real estate transactions. Randi began their career as a Summer Intern for Hon. Alfred M. Wolin in 1990, followed by a Law Intern position with the International League for Human Rights in 1991. Randi then worked as a Litigation Associate at Schindel, Cooper & Farman, where they participated in various litigation cases in state and federal court.
In 1994, Randi joined Fidelity National Title as an Assistant Vice President, specializing in complex underwriting, liability, and real estate matters. Randi also managed litigation caseloads and supervised outside counsel. After four years, they moved to Conway, Farrell, Curtin & Kelly, P.C., as a Real Estate Associate. In this role, they handled all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including mortgage financing, purchase and sale agreements, and leases.
In 2006, Randi joined the New York City Economic Development Corporation as a Senior Counsel. Here, they successfully managed New York City's real estate portfolio, overseeing multimillion dollar ground lease developments, sales, and leases. Randi handled all aspects of development transactions, including structuring, negotiating, and drafting related documents. Randi also supervised junior and mid-level attorneys on various transactions.
Throughout their career, Randi has demonstrated strong legal acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex real estate and legal issues.
Randi Cohen obtained their Bachelor's Degree in History from Barnard College, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. Randi then pursued their Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the Cardozo School of Law, attending from 1990 to 1992.
