Michael Bira has extensive work experience in the field of solutions architecture and customer care sales. Michael is currently working at EDCi as a Senior Manager in Customer Care Sales, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at EDCi, Inc as a Solutions Architect from 2008. In this role, they provided business consulting services to clients to improve their contact center's business processes, engaged with prospective customer's IT teams, and managed customer engagement projects. Before joining EDCi, Inc, Michael worked at West Corporation as the Director of Information Technology from 2002 to 2008, where they managed telephony application development initiatives and supported a significant increase in the user base. Michael also worked as a Project Engineer at Interactive Intelligence, Inc from 2000 to 2002, managing product implementations, and as a Manager eSolutions at marchFIRST in 2000, providing technical and functional leadership in client pursuit opportunities. Michael's work experience began in 1998 at Abbott Laboratories as a Project Manager.
Michael Bira completed their education in Applied Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside from 1987 to 1991, earning a BS degree. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1987, they attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and studied Aeronautical Engineering.
