Vice President of Content & Creative Strategy at EdCuration

Kristi Hemingway has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kristi currently works at EdCuration as the Vice President of Content & Creative Strategy, a role they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Programs at EdCuration from October 2019 to March 2022.

Before joining EdCuration, Kristi worked as a Contributing Writer at Colorado Parent Magazine starting in September 2010. In 2013, they joined Inquiry By Design as the Director of Professional Learning, where they were responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and success by assessing needs and implementing systems for improvement. Kristi also managed a team of learning facilitators and provided instructional coaching and peer-learning labs to enhance teacher effectiveness. Kristi held this role until September 2019.

In the earlier years of their career, Kristi worked as the School Programs Coordinator at Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities from February 2011 to September 2013. In this role, they designed and delivered interactive arts workshops and programs for pre-K to 12th-grade students, both on-site and through outreach programs. The program elements aligned with professional children's theater productions and supported grade level standards.

Kristi's career started at Two Roads Charter School, where they were a Teacher K-12 and the ELA Department Leader from August 2002 to February 2011.

Kristi Hemingway has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Colorado Christian University. Kristi also holds an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Cottey College. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained a Colorado State Teaching License K-6 and is highly qualified for 6-12 Humanities/ELA, certified by the State of Colorado.
