Kara Martchek

Kara Martchek is an experienced retail and merchandising professional currently serving as the Senior Merchandising Manager for the Women’s Division at Eddie Bauer since October 2024. Previously, Kara held the position of TikTok Shop Category Lead for Beauty & Personal Care from November 2023 to July 2024 and was the Business Development & Partnerships Lead at Carted from October 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included crafting Go-to-Market strategies and leading customer success efforts. As a founding team member at Carted, Kara also designed a comprehensive product taxonomy to enhance AI-powered features. Kara's experience further includes serving as an Elevate Program Advisor and as a Buyer at Stitch Fix, managing complex product categories, and earlier roles as a Buyer and Associate Buyer at Sears Holdings Corporation. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Merchandising from Indiana University Bloomington.
