Firas Helou has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Firas began their career as an Engineering Trainee at Peugeot S.I.D.I.A Lebanon in 2012. Firas then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at RAY Mecatronix for a short period before moving on to Methode Electronics Middle East S.A.L, where they served as a Mechanical Engineer focused on Sensor Development from 2017 to 2020. In 2021, Firas co-founded and managed the websites Makersnews and F1ian, where they also worked as a web developer. Firas also briefly worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Cube 3DP. Firas further diversified their skillset by working as a Freelance Mechanical 3D Designer, specializing in 3D modeling. Currently, they are a Frontend Developer at eddress, where they began working in September 2022. Firas has demonstrated proficiency in both technical and managerial roles, with a particular focus on web development and mechanical engineering.
Firas Helou completed their high school education at Sagesse Saint Jean Brasilia from 1993 to 2008. Firas obtained the degree of a high school diploma during this time. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from CNAM Lebanon from 2010 to 2016. In terms of additional certifications, in June 2008, Firas obtained the DELF B2 certification from the Ministère chargé de l'Éducation nationale. Later, in October 2012, they obtained the BULATS certification from ISSAE Cnam Liban. More recently, in August 2022, they completed the Java 8 Essential Training and Learning Java certifications from LinkedIn.
