Jason Hunter has over 20 years of experience in software engineering. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a Software Engineer at Fishbowl, where they developed a Client/Server Java application for inventory control and light manufacturing, database maintenance and upgrade utilities, and separate installers for Client and Server on various operating systems. From 2004 to 2009, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Intuit, where they integrated Web Intelligence platform with Intuit small business portal, lead development team in extending and enhancing custom fields in QuickBooks, and created XML web service to serve up business analysis data. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Consultant at OveractDev Technology Partners, where they ported a website creation tool from Windows to Linux, created a photo contest site with Facebook and Twitter authentication and sharing, and added social sharing to an iOS learning app. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Software Architect at Identifix, Inc. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ancestry.com, where they did full stack development with Angular and Java services to support Ancestry.com's DNA website. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at MoneyStream, where they updated an iOS app and enabled Touch ID login, maintained and updated a web site with responsive design, and enhanced backend to provide better details for bills. Since 2019, they have worked as a Principal Software Engineer and Team Lead at Omadi, Inc., where they have led a mobile team in creating a new react-native app to replace a legacy app, maintained the legacy app, and created a new server layer in GO to integrate with a Drupal database. Jason is currently a Principal Software Engineer at Eddy.

Jason Hunter attended Brigham Young University from 1997 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
