Jeff Suarez

Jeff Suarez has extensive work experience in software engineering and product development. Jeff is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Product Engineering at Edelman Financial Engines. In this role, they lead a team of over 100 engineers and oversees the software engineering organization. Prior to this, Jeff worked as the Vice President and Head of Product Engineering at the same company.

Before joining Edelman Financial Engines, Jeff worked at Fidelity Investments as the Vice President of Software Engineering and as the Incubator CTO at Fidelity Labs. In these roles, they led engineering for a new business and built a digital advice solution for retirees. Jeff also worked on building cutting-edge test capabilities using serverless technologies and an event-driven architecture.

Jeff has also held leadership positions at Curata, where they served as the Vice President of Engineering, and Financial Diligence Networks, where they were the Technology Co-founder and Head of Product Development. Jeff co-founded the cloud-based SAAS product that allowed hedge funds and investors to securely share research and diligence information.

Earlier in their career, Jeff worked at Vistaprint as the Global Director and Technology Director of Digital Products. Jeff also served as a Senior Lead Software Engineer and Program Manager at the company. Additionally, they have experience as a Software Engineer at Merrill Lynch and as a Lead Software Engineer at Teachers-Teachers.com.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated expertise in developing software products, managing engineering teams, and shaping technology strategies.

Jeff Suarez attended The Johns Hopkins University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Jeff also holds additional certifications in AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, both obtained in 2017 from Amazon Web Services.
