Slava Bunescu

Slava Bunescu is an experienced professional with a strong background in aviation and customer service. Currently serving as Station Manager at Edelweiss Air AG since April 2022, responsibilities include overseeing ground operations at YYC airport, ensuring compliance with safety and service standards, and managing staff training and relations with airport officials. Previously, Slava held various managerial roles in ground and airport operations at Enerjet Airlines, Quantem Aviation Services, and Lufthansa German Airlines, as well as worked as a Product Advisor at South Pointe Toyota following a shift to the automotive industry. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering from the National Aerospace University and a certification in insurance and guaranteed investments from the WFG Education Institute.
