Ninad Varadkar

Ninad Varadkar CISSP has over 15 years of experience in various roles related to information security and network management. Ninad began their career as a Senior Network Engineer at eClerx Services Pvt Ltd, where they were responsible for maintaining network infrastructure and ensuring zero downtime. Ninad then worked at Newswire18 as an Executive, coordinating with customers and vendors for setting up leased lines. At CNBC TV18, they served as an Executive-Technology, managing a team of engineers and handling technical escalations.

Ninad then joined Cerillion Technologies as a Network Manager, where they managed the entire network setup and modified security policies. Ninad later joined Standard Chartered Capital Markets, where they served as a Network Manager, responsible for managing network connectivity for the company and its branches.

Ninad then moved on to Aditya Birla Retail Ltd as an IT Manager, managing network connectivity for multiple locations. Ninad subsequently joined Standard Chartered Securities as a Manager Network, where they played a key role in resolving network issues and implementing security measures.

Ninad then joined HDFC Life as an Information Security Manager before joining Ocwen Financial Corporation -US as a Manager Information Security, where they managed third-party risk management for critical vendors. Currently, they are working as the Group CISO at Edelweiss Financial Services Limited, overseeing the information security functions of the group. Their responsibilities include managing technical security, cloud security, network security, and application security. Ninad also acts as a subject matter expert and provides security guidance to stakeholders.

Ninad Varadkar CISSP completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics from AISSMS' College of Engineering in Pune, India from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C) with a focus in Electronics from AISSMS' College of Engineering Pune in 1994. Ninad also completed their Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) with a focus on Science from Alfred Gadney Jr. College in Kolhapur.
