Sajil Paul has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Sajil started their career in 2005 as an Executive Corporate Recruitments at Larsen & Toubro Infotech Limited, where they managed campus recruitment and branding initiatives. Sajil then progressed to roles such as HR Generalist, HR Generalist Team Lead, and Manager: Human resources, where they were responsible for end-to-end HR activities, performance management, and career mapping.

In 2012, Sajil joined IMS Health as a Senior Manager Human Resources, where their responsibilities included HR business partnership, L&D planning, and performance management for the India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka region.

Afterward, they joined Reliance in 2016 as a Senior General Manager in Corporate Learning & Development, where they were part of the core team implementing the R-HR transformation and creating learning academies.

Currently, Sajil is working at Edelweiss Financial Services Limited. Sajil has held positions such as Deputy Vice President Corporate HR, Vice President Corporate Human Resources, and Associate Director. In their current role as Senior Vice President, they focus on organizational development and effectiveness, providing consultative solutions, and managing corporate people projects.

Throughout their career, Sajil has demonstrated expertise in HR management, strategic alignment, development programs, and operational excellence.

Sajil Paul completed an Executive Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Masters in Management Studies (MMS) from the University of Mumbai from 2003 to 2005, and a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) from the same university from 1999 to 2002. Sajil completed their high school education at Atomic Energy Central School, specializing in Science, from 1987 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Sajil has acquired several certifications, including an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation in 2022 and various certifications in areas such as Instructional Design, Neuroscience of Learning, and Predictive Index assessment.
