Abhishek Kumar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the asset management sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited since April 2021, Abhishek leads mutual fund sales across emerging markets including Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, North East, MP, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, and Coimbatore. Prior to this role, Abhishek held the position of Deputy Vice President and Regional Head for Rest of East at Edelweiss Asset Management from June 2018 to June 2021 and served as Assistant Vice President at DSP Blackrock Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd. from December 2007 to June 2018. Abhishek holds a degree from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad, completing studies there between 2004 and 2006.
