Sumanta Khan

Sumanta Khan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in fund management and equity research. Currently serving as Fund Manager Equity at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited since March 2024, Sumanta previously held the position of Senior Fund Manager (Equity) at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, overseeing a flagship diversified fund with an AUM exceeding Rs 2,300 Crores. Prior to that, Sumanta managed both equity and debt funds at ICICI Prudential Pension Funds Management Company, handling over Rs 2,200 Crores in AUM, and was involved in portfolio management at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company for over a decade. Sumanta began the career at Raymond Ltd. as Assistant Manager and transitioned to equity research at Morgan Stanley, focusing on mid-cap US banking stocks. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, Sumanta holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
