Tami Strauss

Tami Strauss is a seasoned professional in real estate development and urban planning, currently serving as the Associate Director of Real Estate Development at Eden Housing, Inc. since May 2021. Tami previously held the position of Deputy Director at the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency from July 2013 to June 2020, after a six-month tenure as Acting Executive Director, leading initiatives to improve quality of life in Norwalk. Earlier roles included Director of Community Development Planning, where Tami administered $4 million for the Choice Neighborhoods Initiative, and Director of Government and Foundation Relations at buildOn, securing over $1 million in funding. Tami's career began as a Knowledge Development Officer at the Housing Development Fund, generating more than $5 million in funding. Other significant positions include Associate Vice President at Rockwood Realty Associates and Research Manager at KeyPoint Partners, LLC. Tami holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University at Albany.
