Teddy Newmyer

Teddy Newmyer is an experienced professional in real estate development, currently serving as the Associate Director of Real Estate Development at Eden Housing, Inc., since May 2018, where responsibilities have included senior project development and project management. Teddy has also been a Board Member at Maji Safi Group since December 2019 and the Principal at Newmyer Iselin Project LLC since May 2013, focusing on purchasing, renovating, and managing residential properties in New Orleans. Previous experience includes roles as an Assistant Project Manager at Toll Brothers and a Development Associate at Renaissance Property Group, where Teddy contributed to securing significant funding for a mixed-income housing community for veterans. Teddy’s career began with various roles in community service and real estate development, including a resilience strategy internship with the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Sustainable Real Estate Development from Tulane University and a Bachelor's Degree in Earth & Environmental Science from Wesleyan University.
