Alecia R.

Alecia R. has a strong background in human resources, with experience in various positions. Alecia began their career as a Sr. Graduate Admissions Coordinator at Florida Institute of Technology in 2003 and then moved on to become a Human Resources Administrator at the University of Chicago in 2007. From there, they worked as a Human Resources Director at Springfield Township from 2009 to 2011. Alecia then joined the Minnesota Timberwolves as a Director of Human Resources for a short period before transitioning to the City of Eden Prairie, where they held the role of Human Resources and Support Services Manager from 2011 to 2018. Currently, they serve as the Administrative Services and Human Resources Director for the City of Eden Prairie, a position they have held since January 2019.

Alecia R. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management (MS HRM) degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. Alecia completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health at Iowa State University. Additionally, Alecia has obtained certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
