James Fulcher’s work spans broadcast media, technology, and science communications.
Having built his career in television production, he has worked on the ground in over 50 countries including some of the world’s most biodiverse and vulnerable regions. Upon observing a rapid shift in humanity’s relationship with the natural world coinciding with a global trend of disinformation, James’ focus shifted to finding innovative ways to leverage technology, media, and scientific research to build pathways toward a more equitable and sustainable future.
He currently works with partners including BBC Natural History Unit, UNEP, Restor, TIME, Wellcome Trust, and the European Climate Foundation, alongside advising on strategy for independent production companies and philanthropic funds.
James believes that the best solutions will be found through collaboration, innovation, and open dialogue with a true representation of a global population. He believes in exploring these through embracing risk and opportunity with an entrepreneurial spirit.
