Geoffrey Barker

Geoffrey Barker is an entrepreneur and investor who, in addition to his role as a director of Eden Reforestation Projects, currently serves on the boards of Smartsheet, ZipWhip, SpecialX, Light & Motion, Vimly Inc. and Tell Friends, Inc. Previously, he was the COO and co-founder of RPX Corporation, a leading provider of patent risk management solutions. In addition to RPX (Nasdaq: RPXC), he co-founded both The Cobalt Group, which was acquired by ADP for $400 million, as well as Vigilos Inc.

Mr. Barker began his career in the financial services industry as a trader and investment banker at Kidder Peabody, Piper Jaffray and Salomon Brothers. In 2015, he served as an executive fellow at the Yale School of Management. He holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from Columbia University.
