Daniel Ivanov

Daniel Ivanov has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Daniel is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Edenred since May 2023. Prior to this, from November 2021 to March 2023, they worked as the Director of Engineering, Platform at Nasuni.

Before joining Nasuni, they held the position of Senior Director, Software Development at Lionbridge Technologies from August 2019 to November 2021. Here they led the engineering organization responsible for delivering a crowd-based interpretation platform and also played a key role in transforming the architecture to microservices. Daniel achieved significant growth in customer volume and implemented technology changes to improve performance and scalability.

From June 2015 to August 2019, Daniel served as a Senior Manager, R&D at Qlik, where they contributed to the research and development of innovative technologies. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Development Manager at Oracle from March 2014 to June 2015.

Daniel started their career at EMC, where they held the roles of Principal Software Engineer from 2009 to 2014 and Senior Software Engineer from 2005 to 2009. Daniel also gained valuable research experience as a Junior Fellow at the Dynamical and Evolutionary Machine Organization Lab at Brandeis University in 2004.

Additionally, Daniel briefly worked as a Project Lead at Lazurit Jewelry Company, Russia's largest jewelry retailer, in 2003. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in engineering leadership, software development, and technological innovation across multiple domains and industries.

Daniel Ivanov has an MBA degree in High Tech from Northeastern University, a MS degree in Computer Science from Brandeis University, and a BS degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Clarkson University. Daniel also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
