David James

David James has extensive work experience in sales and leadership roles within the fuel card industry. 🚚 David started their career in 2008 with Fleetcor, where they held various sales leadership positions, including VP of Inside Sales UK. 🚚 David also served as the Head of Telesales and UK Sales Operations Manager. In 2015, David joined Epyx as a Commercial Director, focusing on technology solutions for the automotive industry. 🚚 David then moved on to The Fuelcard Company, where they worked as a Sales Manager and Senior Sales Team Leader. In 2020, David became a Sales Director at both Edenred and The Right Fuelcard Company, taking on P&L responsibilities and overseeing various aspects of sales and marketing. Additionally, they have previous experience as a Professional Sales Advisor at American Golf, providing customer service and negotiating sales deals.

David James attended Loughborough University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a 2:1 degree in Politics. Prior to that, they attended Marlborough College from 1997 to 2002 and completed their A Levels in English Literature, History, Physics, and Theatre Studies. In 2022, they obtained a certification in the CMI Level 7 Senior Leadership Programme from In Professional Development (INPD).
