Hawa Konate

Hawa Konate is currently serving as a Research Intern in the Department of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Biochemistry at Brown University since June 2024. With experience in the hospitality sector as a Dining Room Waitress at Edenwald Senior Living from August 2022 to the present, Hawa also completed a Research Assistant Internship at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from June 2023 to August 2023, focusing on graduate-level research in Environmental Health and Engineering. In September and October 2022, Hawa participated in a Political Candidate Fellowship with the Harry Bhandari campaign, engaging voters in Baltimore County's 8th District. Hawa is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Morgan State University, expected to graduate in May 2026, following a high school diploma from Towson High Law & Public Policy in May 2022.
