Nicole Ilic has a wealth of experience in nutrition and research. Nicole began their career in 2007 as a Dietetic Intern at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Nicole then moved on to become a Senior Dietitian at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2009. In the same year, they also started working as a Consulting Nutritionist for Wuqu' Kawoq. In 2010, they became a Research Dietitian at Tufts University's Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging. The following year, they began working as a Research Assistant at Tufts University's Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. In 2011, they were hired as a Nutritionist, Nutrition Research and Policy Advisor, and Nutrition Research and Policy Manager at Edesia. In this role, they were responsible for supervising technical staff, maintaining expertise on the latest developments in international nutrition, planning and implementing research initiatives, overseeing product development and consumer research, providing technical support to partners, and contributing to advocacy and policy strategy. In 2016, they joined the Advisory Council Member - Council on Nutrition and Healthy Food Choices at the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research.

Nicole Ilic obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science from Penn State University between 2003 and 2007. Nicole then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Science and Policy at Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy between 2009 and 2011, with a focus on policy, international nutrition programming, and nutrition in humanitarian assistance.
