Maxim Naumov has worked in the software engineering field since 1998. Their first role was as an Embedded HW/SW Developer at NITA JSC in 1998, followed by a System Architect/HW/FW Developer role at NITA plc in 1999. In 2001, they joined IndigoVision PLC as an Embedded SW Engineer. In 2003, they moved to Picsel Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in platform development, porting to embedded platforms, and HW/SW troubleshooting. In 2010, they joined IndigoVision as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, where they were involved in all aspects of design and development of GNU/Linux-based embedded platform for real-time media streaming. Finally, in 2016, they joined Edesix as a Principal Software Engineer, where they researched and developed wearable surveillance hardware and software, embedded GNU/Linux, media processing pipelines, transmission protocols, and storage solutions.

Maxim Naumov graduated from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" in 2001 with a Masters degree in Micropocessor Systems, Complexes and Networks, having started their studies in 1994.
