EDEWOR FOUNDATION is a nonprofit community development organization focused on education, literacy, and cultural growth, operating in both the United States and Nigeria.

It is registered as a 501(c)(3) charity in the US (EIN: 86-1429482) and also holds registration with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT/NO 137747).

Vision & Mission

We use education as a tool for global change and societal development. It runs adult and youth literacy programs, curriculum activities, and community initiatives to combat illiteracy and poverty, particularly in underserved areas.

It began with free investment classes in the United States and expanded to establish its first adult learning center in the Okuovu Community, Sapele Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria which has expanded to more than 16 communities as of 2026.

Founder & Background
Founded by Prof. Rollison Edewor who emphasized giving back to society where poverty and lack of educational funding are most pressing. The organization started small and remains focused on impactful, community-level work, especially in Delta State, Nigeria.

The foundation also maintains an active presence through its Facebook page (C Omare Edewor Foundation - COEF / AdultYouthEducation), TikTok and Instagram where it shares updates on events like adult quiz competitions, cultural celebrations, and community activities.
