Andrew Sinclair

Andrew Sinclair is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently overseeing the Conventional Island Programme for the Hinkley Point C nuclear new build project at EDF (UK) since March 2018. This role involves managing significant FIDIC contracts for the design, manufacture, and installation of over one hundred and forty cranes. Prior experience includes project management roles at Horizon Nuclear Power and RWE Technology UK Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed power station design, programme controls, risk management, and engineering services for large-scale projects. Andrew's background also includes a long tenure at International Power, contributing to technology strategy and project management for major capital projects, including a notable biomass co-firing system and a tidal energy initiative. Educational qualifications include a BEng(Hon) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and further studies in Renewable Energy from The Open University.
