Gary Smith

Gary Smith, BSc (Hons) MCIPS, is an experienced professional in commercial and supply chain management, currently serving as the Commercial Lead for Responsible Designer and Engineering at EDF (UK) since June 2013. In this role, Gary supports the UK's new nuclear programme and oversees Responsible Designer Contracts, particularly focusing on Hinkley Point C. Prior to this position, Gary held various senior roles, including Senior Supply Chain Manager, where leadership encompassed a £300M annual spend and management of extensive corporate contracts across multiple categories such as Human Resources and Marketing. Gary's contributions to supply chain strategy emphasize diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.
