Mark Lees is the Station Director at EDF Energy, overseeing the safe and reliable operation of the Heysham 1 Plant. Previously, Mark held the positions of Equipment Reliability Programme Manager and Engineering Manager within EDF, managing a substantial team and improving reliability across the UK Nuclear Fleet. Mark trained as an Electrical Power Engineer, specializing in various aspects of power station distribution systems and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Napier University, where they were awarded the Napier Medal, as well as a Master of Science in Electricity Industry Management & Technology from the University of Strathclyde.
