Richard Lawrence

Richard Lawrence has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Business Performance & Quality at EDF Energy since November 2000, where responsibilities include developing a reporting infrastructure for informed decision-making and establishing business policy and process standards. Prior experience includes serving as Business Development Manager at TXU-Europe, where analytical support was provided for the acquisition of North Sea gas assets, and an international assignment in Milan, Italy. Earlier, Richard worked as a Market Analyst at the National Grid Company, focusing on identifying international business opportunities and building relationships with key stakeholders to enhance shareholder value. Richard holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a BA Honours in Economics from Newcastle University.
