Dave Johnson

Dave Johnson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across the energy, water, and agriculture sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Terrawat since March 2025, Johnson has also been an active member of the Great Artesian Basin Stakeholder Advisory Committee since March 2022. A Non-Executive Director at Magnium Australia, Johnson contributes to commercializing innovative decarbonized technologies. Previously, Johnson held the position of Chief Executive Officer for EDF Renouvelables in Australia and served as General Manager of Development and Construction at AGL Energy, where significant renewable energy projects were established. With a foundational background in operations and engineering from roles at Origin Energy, Santos Ltd, BHP, and Rio Tinto, Johnson holds an MBA from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
