Duncan Steward

Duncan Steward is an experienced professional currently serving as an Electrical Construction Supervisor at EDF Renewables in South Africa since February 2024 and as an HSE Manager at Fujairah F2 since September 2023. With a notable background in health, safety, and environmental management, Duncan has held various supervisory roles, including Mechanical Supervisor at Enel Green Power and WBHO Design & Construct, and HSE Manager at Sterling and Wilson Solar Solutions, where significant projects were executed, such as solar PV plants in Namibia and South Africa. In addition to these roles, Duncan is the Managing Director and Founder of Safe Set Pty Ltd, established to enhance health and safety standards in South Africa's small and medium business sector. Previous experiences include heading EHS at Mesaieed Power Company Ltd and serving as a firefighter with the London Fire Brigade. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Croydon College and has further certification in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from ENERTECH Training Center.
