Lead Wind Engineer at EDF Renewables (South Africa)

Gareth Erfort is an accomplished academic and engineer with a focus on renewable energy and mechanical engineering. Since January 2020, Gareth has held the position of Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at Stellenbosch University. In the field of industry, Gareth has worked as the Lead Wind Engineer and Senior Wind Analyst at EDF Renewables (South Africa) since July 2023, and previously served as a Renewable Energy Engineer and Atmospheric Modeler at ArcVera Renewables from January to June 2023.
