Alan MacIsaac

Alan MacIsaac is a Technical Risk Engineer at EDF Renewables UK & Ireland, a position held since March 2021, following a brief role as a Delivery Driver at Deliveroo. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Engineer at Risktec Solutions from October 2017 to November 2020, where collaborative work with clients across various sectors, including Oil & Gas and Process & Energy, was conducted. Alan has also contributed to research as a Master Thesis Project Student at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf in 2016, focusing on mass transfer and liquid mixing in bubble column reactors. Prior roles include a summer placement in risk engineering at ScottishPower and promotional work with Our Dynamic Earth. Alan holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, completed in 2017.
