John Casley

John Casley currently serves as Investment Analysis Lead for both Ireland Onshore & Offshore and Ireland Onshore Technologies at EDF Renewables UK & Ireland since December 2022. Additionally, John holds the position of Investment Analysis Lead at Codling Wind Park from October 2023. Prior experience includes working as Portfolio Manager at the Central Bank of Ireland from May 2021 to November 2022, Trading & Regulatory Strategist at Tynagh Energy Limited from December 2017 to May 2021, and Senior Derivatives Trader at Geneva Trading from June 2011 to November 2017. Early career experience includes working as a Site Engineer at BAM Nuttall Ltd, where John managed the construction of a 50-meter highway bridge in the Olympic Park in London. John is a CFA Candidate (2019-2022), holds an MSc in Finance (Risk Management Stream) from Trinity College Dublin, a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University of Galway, and a Higher Diploma in Data Analytics from the National College of Ireland.
