Eric Klug serves as an Associate Asset Manager at EDF Renewables North America, where responsibilities include asset management support for 850MW of wind energy across five projects and 550MW of solar energy at one project within the PJM, MISO, and NYISO regions, starting June 2022. Prior to this role, Klug had a substantial tenure at DTE Energy, beginning as an Engineering Co-op in Chemical Engineering before advancing to Staff Engineer for Renewable Energy Development and Monroe Power Plant, ultimately serving as Senior Engineer. Key achievements at DTE Energy involved leading a critical equipment replacement project under a tight schedule and conducting root-cause analyses that resulted in significant upgrades. Klug holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University and has pursued further education in global sustainable engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology, alongside training from Solar Energy International.
