Francis Chartrand

Francis Chartrand is an accomplished electrical engineer with over a decade of experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the VP of Offshore Engineering and Interconnection at EDF Renewables North America since July 2010. Francis has held various leadership roles within the company, including Senior Director and Director of Engineering and Interconnection, where responsibilities include overseeing activities related to electrical systems, SCADA, and telecom. Prior experience includes serving as Technical Director at Mid-Atlantic Offshore Development and Interconnection and Electrical Package Manager at Atlantic Shores Offshore Wind LLC. Education includes a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from École de technologie supérieure, along with a DEC in Telecom from Institut Teccart.
